The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing CANCELLED for 9/28/‘24
we have been forced to CANCEL PUblic Observing because of solid cloud cover, and a forecast of rain after 6:00{M. Our next scheduled observing session is next Friday OCt. 4th with Saturday the 5th as our back-up in case of poor weather. we hope you can join us!
