OPEN tonight for Public Observing 5/10/'24
We are OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Friday May 10th from 10:00-12:00 midnight at the Nielsen Observatory. There is a possibility of aurora tonight (the Northern Lights) which is unusual this far south. If you live in a light polluted area, join us to see if we get lucky to see one of nature's most impressive displays. We recommend dressing warmly. For directions to the observatory, click on the 'Maps" tab on the home page of this website.
