Public Observing CANCELLED 7/15/'23

We tried to observe last night (Fri. 7/14) but the skies were very poor in spite of an optimistic forecast, so we discussed trying again tonight (7/15). However the forecast is for solid clouds tonight and rain. Thus we are CANCELLED for tonight. Our next scheduled Public Observing session will be next Friday the 21st from 10:00-12:00 midnight at the Nielsen Observatory.Normally, Saturday the 22nd would be our back-up date in case the weather is poor on the 21st. However, our sister club, the Cuyahoga Astronomical Association is having their OTAA Convention to which our members are invited on the 22nd, and we do not wish to compete with their nice event, so we have CANCELLED observing on Saturday July 22nd. Hopefully we will be able to observe on the 21st. Don't forget we have Public Solar Observing on Sunday Juel 23rd at the Lorain Co. Metro Parks Sandy Ridge Reservation from 1:00-3:00 if the weather cooperates. We hope you can join us. Steve Schauer, President
