The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Our June Monthly Meeting is on Zoom
The June meeting of the Black River Astronomical Society will be online via the Zoom meeting app at 7:00PM June 3rd. If you are on our mailing list, you will receive information on how to join the meeting a day or two before the meeting. You are on our list if you receive our newsletter, The Guidescope, and/or if you receive the monthly observing calendar. If you are not on our list, contact Dave Lengyel to be added at dave.lengyel@gmail.com. Zoom is free to download and free to use. We hope you can join us. Our speaker will be our Treasurer, Dan Walker who will speak on the StarLink satellites.
