We are OPEN for Public Observing Saturday Dec. 21, 2019 from 8:00-10:00 PM at the Nielsen Observatory. Come join us to see the beauty of the night sky through our large telescopes. For directions to the observatory, please see our website www.blackriverastro.org, and click on the "Maps" tab. Please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory...parking beside the building is restricted to club members unloading telescopes and equipment. Please watch for deer on the drive in, and dress very warmly. This event is free and all are welcome!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
