We are OPEN for our Public Observing session Saturday April 6, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 at the Nielsen Observatory. Please click on the "Maps" tab on the home page of this website for directions and a map. Please watch for deer on the drive in. Also, please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory building. Parking beside the building is restricted to club members unloading telescopes and equipment. We hope you can join us to look through our powerful telescopes.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
