Once again, the weather has forced us to CANCEL our Public Observing session scheduled for tonight, Saturday May 19, 2018. Our next Public Observing star party is scheduled for Friday June 1st from 10:00-Midnight at the Nielsen Observatory.
Tomorrow, we participate in the Lorain County Metro Parks Paddle and Pedal Festival at Lakeview Park in Lorain. This starts at 11:00AM and goes until 3:00 PM. If it is clear or partly cloudy, we will do solar observing. Otherwise we will hand out club information, handouts on astronomy in general, and do demonstrations about the sun. Please join us!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
