We are OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Friday April 20th from 9:00-11:00PM at the Nielsen Observatory. Please click on the "Maps" tab at the top of the home page on this website for directions if you need them. Please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory...parking beside the building is restricted to members unloading telescopes and equipment. Please watch for deer on the drive in and remember to dress warmly. We hope you can join us!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
