We are CANCELLING Public Observing for tonight, Friday May 26th, because the forecasts are calling for cloudy weather with poor transparency. Tomorrow night looks better, so we will try then. If you need directions to the observatory, please go back to this website Home page and click on the "Maps" tab at the top. Please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory. Parking beside the building is restricted to members who are unloading telescopes and equipment. We hope you can join us.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
