Due to clouds and cold temperatures, we are forced to CANCEL our Public Observing session for tonight, Saturday 2/25/'17. Our next scheduled public star party is Friday March 17th from 9:00-11:00 PM. Our next monthly meeting is Wednesday March 1st at 7:00 PM at the Lorain County Metro Parks Sandy Ridge Reservation on 6195 Otten Road in North Ridgeville. Our speaker will be John Reising, a most experienced observer, who will speak on a springtime observing session called a Messier Marathon. The public is invited!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
