Once again, we are forced to CANCEL Public Observing for Saturday Jan. 28th, 2017 due to cloud cover and snow showers. Our next monthly meeting is this Wednesday, Feb.1st at 7:00 PM at the Lorain County Metro Parks Carlisle Visitors Center. The public is invited to join us! The program will be presented by Dave Lengyel who will speak about his trip to Meteor Crater. The club will also display our meteor collection. We hope you can join us.
Our next Public Observing session will be Friday Feb. 24th at 7:00, with Sat. the 25th as our back-up date. Let's hope for better weather!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
