The clouds are finally lifting and we are going to OPEN the Nielsen Observatory tonight for public viewing. Please join us tonight to see Jupiter and the Orion Nebula through powerful telescopes. The viewing will start at 7:00 PM and end at 9:00. We encourage people to dress warmly and to park in the parking lot on the right. Parking beside the building is restricted to people unloading telescopes and equipment. Those doing so should be advised that it may be too wet to park on the grass and that we may need to just park on the asphalt path. We hope to see you tonight!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
