We are OPENING the
Nielsen Observatory tonight, Saturday Nov 14th, for public
observing. We will be observing from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The forecast
calls for the temperature to fall into the 30's, so please dress
warmly. Parking is available in the large lot to the north of the
observatory (on the right as you drive in). Parking next to the
observatory is limited to club members who are unloading telescopes
and equipment.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
