Public Observing OPEN Saturday 1/17'15
We are going to OPEN the Nielsen Observatory tonight, Saturday January 17 at 7:00 PM. There are several forecasts that suggest that it will be clear or partly clear, especially from 7:00-8:00 or so. Comet Lovejoy is fairly high in the sky and we would like to show it off to people. Please dress warmly...it will be windy which will add to the cool temperatures. We hope you can join us.
