We have CANCELLED Public Observing for tonight, Friday July 19,2014, due to heavy clouds. Tomorrow isn't forecast to be much better, but check our calendar in case things improve. A cancellation should be posted before 7:00 PM.
We have Solar Observing scheduled for this Sunday, the 20th. it will be at the Lorain County Metro Parks Sandy Ridge Reservation from 1:00-4:00 PM. With any luck, the weather will improve.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
