Public Observing for Saturday Oct. 6th is CANCELLED due to a forecast of 75% cloud cover. Our next Public Observing session will be Friday 10/19 from 8:00-10:00. We hope to see you there.
We also have solar observing on Sunday October 28th at the Lorain Co MetroParks Sandy Ridge facility from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Please join us if it's clear to safely view our very active sun through solar filtered telescopes.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
