Public Observing is CANCELLED again due to solid cloud cover, a cold wind and a chance of snow. Our next Public Observing session is Friday March 16th from 8:00-10:00 with the 17th as our back-up date.
Our next General Meeting is Wednesday March 7th. Len Jezior will be speaking on "How large is the Universe". These meetings are at the Lorain County Metroparks Carlisle Visitors Center on Diagonal Road and start at 7:00 PM. The public is welcome.
BRAS Board members are reminded that our next Board meeting is March 15th at 7:00 at the Blue Sky Restaurant.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
