The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Backup Observing Session for Saturday May 22 Cancelled
While there is a slight parting in the clouds this afternoon the weather is still deteriorating. More clouds, rain, and fog are forecast for this evening. The observatory will have to stay closed tonight. Let's hope that we have better luck in June!
