The observing session scheduled for Friday, July 24th, 2009 was a roaring success in spite of slight intermittent cloud cover. Several members and several guests showed up in spite of weather maps indicating cloudy skies. The highlight of the night was when we observed the International Space station passing overhead, followed by the PROGRESS 34, a Russian supply ship.

This ends the public sessions for this month. I will post the August events soon.
